5 customer reviews For the Nature Lover and Urban Dweller. January 26, 2008 Every year I purchase this calendar, hang it in my cube and hear the many compliments. The shots are gorgeous and afterwards, their generous size and excellent quality are easily frame-worthy. I recommend it for the person who likes to look over once in a while and visualize themselves to a calming, secluded area in North America that they may never get to visit (and may not be the same if I do). Support a good cause and appreciate the vast areas of nature at her finest. great. January 1, 2008 fantastic calendar, got it for a gift for someone and was tempted to keep it myself. Calendars better last year. December 26, 2007 We buy these every year not only to give as gifts to our family but because we want to support the Sierra Club in its efforts to save our world ecology. I didn't find the pictures as inspiring this year but they're still beautiful. And our friends and family always appreciate them. Sierra club 2008 winderness calendar. One of the most popular calendars ever published! This is the perfect calendar for those who are over-worked and over-stressed. Here is visual proof of what every cat lover has always known: Cats are masters of the art of relaxation, living proof that naps are the key to contentment. 16 Month Calendar 4 customer reviews Calendar Satisfactory. January 14, 2008 I purchased this calendar for my husband. The pictures are nice and the blocks for the days are large enough for him to write reminders. He likes it very much. Too Cute!!!. December 17, 2007 This calendar makes me smile whenever I see it. No sad moods around these kitties. Big Calendar has NEW photos, not the same. December 16, 2007 Maybe the last reviewer is referring to the "mini" Cat Naps calendar, but I have the 2007, and just looked at the 2008 in a store, and the pics are not the same. I find having this calendar with these wonderful pictures of cats at absolute peace helps lower my stress during the day. The big version (not mini) is a wonderful new batch of pics. 2008?. October 19, 2007 I just received my 2008 Cat Naps Calendar. It has the same photos as the 2007 calendar! Did they think we wouldn't notice? Unless you're wild about repetition, look elsewhere! |

Audubon Engagement Calendar celebrates the vast natural world in panoramic landscapes, intimate glimpses, and moments of singular beauty. A Great Egret displaying its elegant plumage; sunlight streaming through a grove of Quaking Aspens; a thick school of Blue and Gold Fusilier fish off the Fiji coast. Accompanying the photographs are detailed captions and spacious weekly grids. 5 customer reviews audubon engagement calendar. February 8, 2008 I love my calendar. Its full of beautiful pictures. It displays a full week per page and gives me plenty of room to write in both work and personal engagements. I also love that its flexible and the size is small enough to fit in my purse, yet not so small as to make reading and writing in it difficult. Disappointed in service from Amazon. January 18, 2008 I ordered this beautiful calendar on January 2 and was just informed that it won't be shipped until possibly February. There was no mention of a delay or availability issues when I ordered it. Amazon should provide better service and information for its customers. Audubon Engagement Calender. January 12, 2008 Wonderful way to keep organized. The pictures are a combination of grand landscapes and almost intimate views of nature outstanding. December 29, 2007 Every year I look at different desk calendars, and always end up buying the Audubon one. The photography is absolutely outstanding. AUDUBON ENGAGEMENT CALENDAR 2008. December 3, 2007 RECIEVED CALENDAR WITHIN A WEEK OF OREDER.
NEW CALENDAR IN EXCELLENT SHAPE |
1 customer reviews Good enough pocket calendar. January 11, 2008 Standard pocket calendar, 2-page per month. Good sturdy paper. Sturdy clear-plastic protective cover. Different small photo on each 2-month spread. I wasn't sure what I was ordering since they didn't have any description of the inside. There are several lined pages at the back for notes. No page at the front for ID info, but there's space where you can write it in anyhow. No conversion tables or charts or maps like some pocket calendars have. Just the basics. |

With a presence in over 40 countries and 2.8 million supporters worldwide, Greenpeace is synonymous with peaceful environmental activism. For 2008, the Greenpeace calendar returns with a year of breathtaking vistas, jewel-like seascapes, and faces from the most remote reaches of the wilderness. A magnificent jaguar in a sun-dappled Mexican forest. Mount Everest on a perfectly clear day. A Western Screech Owl perched on a snowy branch. Showcasing the work of the world's foremost nature photographers, including Art Wolfe, Frans Lansing, and others, this full-color calendar captures the drama and stillpristine beauty that's imperative for us to preserve. All royalties from the sale of the Greenpeace calendar go to support the work of Greenpeace. 5 customer reviews Parrots in May and on Cover. May 13, 2008 I have been buying this calendar for more than 10 years. It has the most fantastic photos of animals in their natural setting (some looking at the camera, warily) and nature scenes from the world.
A caption tells you where/what the photo is of. The days denote holidays for America, Canada and Australia.
This year (2008) there is a knockout photo of two red parrots, the one on the left looks older than the other, they look like they are in love (romantic or mother child).
No other calendar does it this well!! A Useful Time Instrument. March 9, 2008 I realize Greenpeace is a real lefty outfit, but the nature pictures are always outstanding and it is one of the few calendars where you can see the dates from all the way across the room. At least they are not promoting gay marriage--I hope. Broaden your Outlook.. February 8, 2008 The way we are so obsessed with our lives, we never care about the world. See these pics daily and remember that there is more to life than being obsessed with USD.
the world's leading environmental organization!. January 28, 2008 I am appalled at the amount of packaging used to send a calendar, including the use of polyvynalchloride packing materials, when a simple paper envelope would have been sufficient. Shame on you! Greenpeace calendar. January 28, 2008 I get a Greenpeace calendar every year. They are big and beautiful and it helps a very worthy cause. |

Spiral-bound weekly planner contains all the useful information of the wall Lunaria with plenty of room for notes and a facing blank page to journal or sketch. It is the perfect tool for charting one's cycles or developing a personal awareness of lunar and astrological influences. - the perfect size for purse or backpack. 2 customer reviews A True Lunar Calendar. November 29, 2007 This is a calendar unlike any other. If you are looking to attune with the cycles of the moon, this is the one to get. Each month begins at the new moon.
This is a great journal and it's been a mainstay for several years. My favorite calendar. November 26, 2007 Normally I'm horrible about keeping a calendar; I've had date books, the calendar up on the fridge, electronic ones via my blackberry, etc. I just can't get them to work with me.
But this one - I'm about to order the 2008 version today, and this will be my third year with this system. Unheard of for me!
The calendar is organized into moon months. Each week is on the right side, Sunday to Saturday. Each day includes four lines to write your plans, shows the current phase of the moon, times of rise and set, the moon signs and stuff that I don't understand. What I like about this calendar though, is that even though it gives you a bunch of info, it doesn't dominate the space. I use about 1/2 the info given to me, but don't mind the extra stuff. The front section does explain those pieces, if you're curious. The left page is blank but lined - I use it to capture the feelings/activities of the week. In between moon months are black and white drawings with a poem or a book excerpt.
Everything goes into my day journal. I use it as my calendar and as a mini-journal. A few paragraphs each week to remind myself years from now what a great weekend I had. |

Revel in the mystique and graceful beauty of the cat. The striking gaze of a Siamese. A white kitten against a white background. A black cat captured in a slant of light. A Maine coon, fluffy and decidedly ruffled. The texture of a tongue, the soft curve of an ear, eyes that shine. Featuring hundreds of beautifully composed and reproduced portraits—in both black-and-white and color—this calendar is a stunning tribute to the cat, its independent spirit and singular charms. 5 customer reviews A daily delight. February 8, 2008 I've been a fan of the Cat Page-a-Day Calender for years now. It makes every morning worth waking up for! Even my own cat approves. Beautiful cats!. January 28, 2008 This collection of photos is beautiful and inspiring. I have it on my desk at work and get many compliments on the quality of the pictures. I love the quotes and sayings as well. If you love cats you will love this calendar! Love this calendar. January 22, 2008 We buy this calendar every year to give as Christmas presents for our cat-loving friends and family. We don't have to buy our own because my sister always give us one. We look forward to "Cat of the Day Time" when we turn to the new page. The photos are terrific. Cat Page-a Day Calendar. January 21, 2008 This is a beautifully-made and beautifully-photographed calendar. I had the 2007 version and tried for some time to find a vendor who carried the 2008 version. It is cleverly constructed to show the first 6 months on one side of the pages and the other 6 months by flipping the pages over and putting them back in the plexiglass frame. I was very glad that Amazon carried the item, and at more than $5.00 off the retail suggested price. I hope they carry the future versions as well. Great Calendar. January 19, 2008 Love this calendar. I get one for my desk in my classroom every year. |

New for 2008, a calendar that makes living green hip, easy, and fun—a full year of doable daily tips for walking more softly on the planet. Tips like forgoing energy-sucking air purifiers for a few air-filtering houseplants. Like drinking organic beer—better for you and the earth. Written with cheekiness and wit, it's a calendar that makes it simple to make a difference. 2 customer reviews Great Idea-2008 Must Have For All. December 15, 2007 If you are environmentally concerned (as you should be) this calendar is for you and everyone on your holiday list. I bought several for my family, friends and relatives. (28 pages) | Dream Horses Calendar 2008by: Workman Publishing Company publisher: Workman Publishing Company released: 2007-06-30 ISBN: 0761145656 $11.99 | Description
The romance of the horse: its untamed spirit, inborn grace, power, and aura of mystery. A lone black stallion thunders through a mist-enveloped meadow. White horses frolic under a fanciful lavender sky. A pair of pintos follow the light of the full moon. A breathtaking tribute to the horse, this calendar features the inimitable equestrian portraits of Bob Langrish, who seamlessly combines dynamic horse photographs with ethereal, dreamlike landscapes. The beauty of a flowing mane, the bold flash of an eye, the rumble of hooves in the distance. It's a true delight for the horse lover. 2 customer reviews Gorgeous Photos. December 3, 2007 I have not yet purchased the 2008 Calender but plant to today. The 2007 Calender had very pretty pictures, I love to see beautiful horses on a beautiful background and this does the trick. A lot of horse calenders only have one or two pretty pictures but this Calender had every picture worth looking at. A+ I would definitely recommend.
More practice needed in PhotoShop. October 29, 2007 I was hoping that the images on this calendar would be dream like and beautiful...instead they are badly PhotoShopped and it makes me wish I would have never purchased this calendar. |
