Ansel Adams 2010 Wall Calendar (2010-03-07)

The Ansel Adams 2010 Wall Calendar was gone from the stores before I could pick up a copy this year, but fortunately it was available from this Amazon vendor, who shipped it promptly as promised. I was very pleased with this purchase.

"Pretty good" calendar (2010-03-06)

The calendar is in black and white which upset me at first because I thought it was going to be in color!!!

However, after putting it up on my light blue wall, I love it.

The only con is there are mostly California pictures in here which could be boring for some.

Incredible photos (2010-02-24)

This is our third Ansel Adams calendar and we love it. The photographs are breathtaking and we look forward to each new month!

Favorite Calendar (2010-02-23)

I like variety in my life but I always use this same calendar because it's so beautiful.

ordered 2010 calendar month ago - STILL NOT DELIVERED!!! SHODDY SHODDY SERVICE (2010-02-14)

Hi there,
I ordered a 2010 wall calendar from A1Books on Jan. 15. It's a month later, and the calendar is still not here. I find this to be appalling service. I've ordered a range exhaust hood, weighing approx. 100 pounds (from another company, obviously) that was delivered in a week. A calendar, all five ounces of it, still not here after a MONTH??!!!
Do yourselves a favour, and never order from A1Books.

Environmental Art 2010 Wall Calendar: Contemporary Art in the Natural World

Publication date: 2009-07-10
ISBN: 160237256X

Price: $13.99

As one of the most exciting art movements of our time, environmental art celebrates our connection to the natural world through beauty, science, metaphor and ecological restoration. It encompasses a surprising landscape of approaches, from ephemeral art in nature sculpture designed to last only a few hours before returning to the earth, to community-based eco- installations which clean up polluted watersheds and promote public understanding of local and global environmental issues. The Environmental Art 2010 wall calendar features fifteen projects drawn from the global archives of greenmuseum(dot)org, a not-for-profit online museum of environmental art. They provide a sampling of some of the latest developments in this field to stimulate the imagination and promote the role of art in the creation of a more sustainable world culture.

2010 Calendar (2010-02-15)

This calendar is really nice. I like looking at it, and I also like that there is enough space for me to write reminders (ex: upcoming appointments, etc). My family also enjoys the calendar a lot. The pictures are very nice and I'm glad I purchased this item :)

This isn't America anymore - Calendar ReWriting History w/Holidays (2010-02-04)

Guess what folks.... Pearl Harbor Rememberance Day doesn't exist with this calendar. That's right, Dec 7th, when our families fought for this country, nah, that's not important anymore. Now we get to celebrate "Muharram - Islamic New Year 1432" on Dec 7th. After all, the Islamics did blow up Americans on American soil, so why not rewrite our holidays too.

Not what i expected (2010-01-27)

I didn't feel this was what i ordered in some way. The pictures I didn't find that interesting, I wished I could have viewed more than just the cover before I purchased it. Made on recycled paper - I'm giving it to a friend that may enjoy it more than me.

Artsy! Creative! (2010-01-12)

I just got this calendar for my classroom and the students and I both love it. It's a very cool calendar with unique pictures. It looks way better in person than in the pictures shown here. And now that it's ridiculously low-priced since we're well into the new year, this is a great buy and a great choice.

Awesome Calendar (2010-01-07)

This calendar is full of beautiful pictures one might not see otherwise. A wise choice, this calendar is appropriate for home or office. You should buy it.

My children loved it! (2010-03-10)

This was the funniest family calendar we have ever had! It contains such joyfull scetches that my two toddlers loved it from the fist glance! The stickers are fantastic: the children can't wait to find a reason or to do things, so that they can stick them in the calendar!

Absolutely love it!!!! (2010-02-12)

This is a must have for families with 3 or more people in it. It's so much easier to keep track of what everyone is doing and the things we have scheduled for the entire family. The stickers make it fun for the kids to remember when they have special events going on and they love to see what the new "theme" for each month is going to be. I will always have one of these calendars as long as they are being made!!!

Mom's Family Calendar 2010 (2010-02-11)

I LOVE this calendar!!!! I've used this type and brand in the past, and I can't live without it! It's hanging in a central location in my kitchen, and everyone in the family refers to it at least once a day to check their activities. I love that you can see the whole month at a glance, so the kids aren't flipping the pages to see the next day/week. Because it's a 17-month calendar, I forgot to buy one in August of last year, then when December rolled around, all the stores I usually find it at were sold out! I settled for one that was similar, and was so disappointed! I'm so happy I thought to check Amazon.com, and was so relieved to find I could still get one in January! Ordering was fast and easy, and I've been so happy ever since! I know some may think, how sad that a simple calendar can bring such joy to someone's life...but when life is as hectic as mine is...you appreciate the little things that make life just that much easier!

A+ (2010-02-11)

I order this calender every year. I love the organiztional options it offers. It's easy for everyone to follow each of their own activities. No squeezing multiple items in a little square. Love it!

Daily Use (2010-02-10)

Great product that is used daily to check on what is going on in our family. I have kids that are active and always going somewhere and have to keep track of it to make sure my schedule is clear if I have something I want to do. All of our appointments, classes, and events are posted on here. It would be nice to think that I could keep track of it all in my head, but alas, I can not. I recommend this to any family.

The change has come.

Celebrate the defining moments of President Barack Obama's inspirational journey to the White House and historic first year in office with this special commemorative calendar.

"This is our moment. This is our time — to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American Dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth that out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope, and where we are met with cynicism, and doubt, and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes, we can."

November 4, 2009, Chicago, IL, upon winning the Presidency of the United States

Loved it! (2010-02-11)

I bought three of these calendars. One for a Christmas gift for my Mom, another for a Christmas gift for my cousin and her family, and one for myself. We are all Obama supporters, so it was a nice thing to have. Everyone loved their gift.

2010 Obama calendar (2010-02-10)

Turn around time was great!
One for me and several others
as gifts to friends and family.
They loved them too!

Presidential calendar review (2010-02-10)

This is an excellent wall calendar with very inspiring words to help make your day. I love it!

Review (2010-02-08)

I have been very pleased with my product. I also was very pleased with Amazon's quick response with the handling my request. I definately will use Amazon again.

Enough already (2010-01-30)

The campaign is over and it's time to get on with reality, so I found this calendar a little off-putting, especially with all the shots of "looking up at Obama" and the contrivance of the "halo-effect" we've seen with the circular seal of the president or a light manipulated to be placed behind his head. If you are a die-hard O fan, or know someone who is, this is the gift for you/them (although the year is moving fast, as is the public opinion), but otherwise I found that the Obama-messiah merchandising blitz has gotten a little tired and transparent at this point, and looking at it was somewhat uncomfortable, considering that the fairy dust is fading and we're needing to look at him as a human being and not as something on the level of Jesus Comes Down From the Hill anymore.

The only thing that gets me through the day... (2010-02-24)

Seriously. When you sit in a 8x8 cube of doom that was designed with "soul crusher" gray walls for 8-10 hours a day you could use a good laugh every now and then. Dilbert just has me figured out! Granted I work in IT - I also work for a fortune 500 company so a lot of the corporate jokes that Dilbert makes are DEAD ON. Examples of this include goal setting, project management, office weight loss, redundant meetings, etc, etc.

Every morning I hurry to my cube with a little bit of excitement knowing that I get to tear off a new comic! My only complaint? occasionaly the paper tops hang a little bit when you tear them off and it looks kind of sloppy, but the manufacturer made little perforated sections that can tear off at 1/8 increments through the comic to remove all of the excess paper left behind.

If you know someone who works in an office - preferable with cubicles - they will truly appreciate this little gift. It makes my day!

a great way to get a daily dose of Dilbert (2010-02-14)

I just realized I've been using Dilbert Day-to-Day Calendars for at least 5 years.
The only calendar I might give it up for is one that doesn't exist: 'The Calvin and Hobbes Day-to-Day Calendar'.
But this one usually gets at least a chuckle out of me when I sit down to breakfast, and that's not a bad way to start the day.
My only complaint is that the back of the pages now have some puzzle or quiz or something; I don't know who thought of doing that, but it's totally unnecessary - Dilbert can stand on his own and doesn't need any little extras.
Besides, I often used to use the back of old pages to make notes to myself for the day, but now it's a drag because of that stuff being in the way, so I've had to switch to using the back of pages from the 'Zen Page-a-Day Calendar'.
It's a little late for this year, but check it out for next year - it's still a great way to get a daily dose of Dilbert!

A laugh a day (2010-02-14)

We enjoy Dilbert so much because Scott Adams captures the essence of our daily lives. It is so refreshing to know that we are not the only ones to experience daily interaction with idiots. These calendars are sometimes hard to find but I know I can depend on Amazon.com. Keep 'em coming!!

Makes the morning (2010-02-14)

I love it. Makes the morning, usually by being funny. I rarely use it as a regular calendar, but more of a daily comic. Helps even better on Monday when you have the weekend sheets to go through.

Gotta love cubeville (2010-02-10)

Every year I buy a dilbert calendar from the kiosk at the mall. This year I bought a close to home calendar, and it didn't measure up.

I waited until february to chase down a dilbert calendar. I guess it makes sense that most pace were out of stock, as a calendar is something you'd buy near the end of the year.

I did find one for a little more than msrp, not that much more though.

It was still cheaper than a trip to the mall.

Only thing I don't care for is the daily extra, I used to use the pages for scratch paper, now I just save them in the box the calendar came with.

Order received exactly as expected (2010-02-20)

Sierra Club 2010 Engagement Calendar

I have used this calander for over 15 years and missed getting one at a local store.

Orederd and received as expected.

Wonderful, Beautiful Calender (2010-02-14)

This is only my second year using the Sierra Club Calendar, but my mom has been using them for as long as I can remember (over 21 years). I mostly use it for keeping track of my academic life (I'm in college). It is a good size, convenient, and the pictures are AMAZING!!! Hope this is helpful. =)

Sierra Club 2010 Engagement Calendar (2010-02-10)

This is my favorite calendar for keeping me organized all year long! I use it to put my "to do's" week by week. Love the photos and there is plenty of space on the right side of the pages for me to write notes and reminders. I highly recommend this as a low tech. organizational tool.

Sierra Club Planner book (2010-02-04)

I love the Sierra Club Planner that I ordered. The pictures in it are fantastic. Also, it took only a couple of days to get here.

Beautiful pictures (2010-01-28)

I love the quality of photography in this calendar, and as always the layout is easy to use for planning your week!
Only one downside, they've gone with cheaper paper this year, and the pages are a little lightweight for a calendar - can stick together, and may tend to curl a bit. But It's still overall a great calendar.

If no one sends you flowers . . . (2010-02-06)

People give me calendars, but I have to land in the hospital in order to get flowers. Hence, I buy the Audubon Wildflowers calendar for my office wall, and at least I have gorgeous pictures of flowers upon which to rest my gaze. If only I had the 'green thumb' to grow my own!

A very pretty calendar (2010-01-30)

This is a nice, large calendar to hang on your wall. Some of the photos are glorious (July,October,December) while others are less amazing (August, September). I think the next time around they should try to use vivid and colorful photos for all the months.

great way to improve SAT (2009-12-06)

I got my daughter this last year and swear it helped raise her SAT scores. It is the same you get on the web site but she is often bogged down to do it by email or going to the site. Even if we have been away she will do those she missed because the calendar is right in front of her
