Calender for a new grandbaby. (2010-02-23)
The calender was as described and pictured. Very quick shipping and secure packing. Just an all around excellent transaction very satisfied. In the years ahead my new granddaughter will find the information useful and interesting to read and look at. I have one of these on her mother and she had never looked at it. When we placed the order she asked to see it and was delightfully surprised that I had had kept with her for a year. Just reading the 26 year old entries was an experience for her. I recommend that everyone get one of these calenders.
Nice non-dated Calendar (2009-09-30)
This calendar can be used for a baby boy or girl. You use stickers for the months, events, and milestones. There is enough room to write in the boxes if there isn't a sticker for a particular milestone/event. I bought one for my baby girl, and one for my girlfriend's baby boy!
wonderful keepsake (2007-12-07)
Got this as a gift for my second child and couldn't be happier. Two kids at home meant less time to fill in a "baby book" so this was ideal for me to track her first year's moments. The pages are adorable and there are more than enough stickers to make life easy. It also comes in a handy plastic sleeve to keep it pristeen. I even found room to insert small photos each month (although the design doesn't include space for this). I would definitely recommend this to any busy mom.
Ok (2007-02-13)
the friend I gave this to loved it. I saw it and thought it could have been better. Paper thin and not many stickers
Great Baby Book Alternative (2006-11-09)
This is my second Baby Calender. I received one for my first son and I filled it in completely. I love calendars and I would look at and fill it in each day unlike his very nice expensive baby book which is still mostly empty (he is 2years 3months). I purchased this one, since I couldn't find one like my first one, and i love it so far. I do wish it had pockets for each month like my first one did but that is the only downfall. It is very beautiful and has lots of stickers and room to write. Each month has the same topics to fill in and will not be aplicable each month so I just write my own thoughs and ignore the topic suggestions.

Perfect (2009-01-10)
This was a great calendar. I used it all last year and I also used the 2007 one faithfully. I loved the rubber band, I could put coupons and other free papers in and they would stay put. I am disappointed that 2009 isn't exactly the same.
Makes a good daily journal (2008-03-29)
This calendar presents each week on a two-page spread. Each day gets a 3 inch by 1.5 inch area.
It has 3 years at a glance in the front, and in the back it has a 2-page spread for the upcoming year with each month getting 3 lines; anniversaries & birthdays the same; 4 pages for names & numbers; 2 pages for gift ideas; a page for zodiac signs and birth stones, a tip card, and 2 pages for notes. A rubber band from the back cover can be looped around the front to keep it closed.
The pages of this calendar are thick, the binding is very sturdy: the signatures are actually sewn. The cover is tough with no signs of cracking or scuffing and very minimal edge wear. After 3 months of carrying around in a purse, it looks practically new.
The paper is not absorbent, which is good because ink won't bleed, but it also sits on the surface for a while without drying and is apt to smear. I chose a Pigma Micron pen after trying a Pentel Needle Tip. You may want to test some pens in an inconspicuous place in the book.
I'll see how I feel about how I'm using it in December, and if I continue with the project, I'll buy another one for next year.

Disappointed... (2008-10-11)
Let me preface this by saying I am a huge fan of the Boynton Wall calendar and have purchased one every year for several years. This year I decided to get the desk calendar as well and at first, I loved it. After taking an hour or so to enter in the kids school calendar, my school calendar, every birthday and special event for the year and anything else I could come up with, I was ready to go. The trouble started only a few days in when I noticed the first couple of pages were ripping out. I pulled out the clip that I was using to hold "old pages" and thought that I had solved the problem. One week later, I threw the Family Desk Calendar in the garbage. I loved everything about the calendar EXCEPT the fact that it kept falling apart...
Perfect Planner for Mom! (2008-03-10)
I've been a fan of Sandra Boynton's "Mom's Family Wall Calendars" for years, but last year, when I moved into my new house, I couldn't find a good place for it where it would be easily visible, and more importantly, usable. So this year, when I saw this planner, I was overjoyed!
Same great art spread out over 52 weeks with the same great stickers to use for every occasion! There's more than enough space to keep track of my stuff, along with both of my kids (although, for bigger, active families this could be an issue, as there is only a differentiation for 'Mom' and 'Kids', not the split available on the wall calendar). I use it daily (it fits in my medium size purse and goes everywhere with me) and have yet to miss an event, appointment or bill for that matter!
I love the to do and grocery (automatically makes chocolate #9 AND #10 on every list!), plus all the other extras in the back section!
Definitely recommend this product for every single mom out there. Even if you just leave it on your desk to flip through, you're going to find yourself better organized (oh, it has pockets, too!) and less stressed out!
The only CON I found was the adhesive for the pockets did not hold very well, but that was easily remedied with scotch tape.
Desk Planner (2008-02-19)
I love this desk planner, it has been wonderful. It has plenty of room to write in and cute pre made lists that are perfect for daily errands. I wouldn't choose any other after using this one
love it! (2008-02-14)
i love it, i love stickers and the lists and the mom/family divided days days... i tell every mom about it! one mom did say she loved it but needed the daily time record as well as just day, but that's the only complaint.
A Mom's must have!!! (2008-02-07)
This is my second year using this planner and I absolutely love it. I have a busy family of five, I find it to be very simple and easy to use. It's just a fun planner with all the stickers. It fits well in my purse and/or diaper bag. Great Christmas gift for friends who are mothers.

Brilliant Organizer (2009-08-08)
Been using this organizer for two years and couldn't live w/out it. 3 kids under 6yrs old. The only complaint for 2009 is the lack of space to put in contacts (people's contact info). The 2008 version had front and back and this year only a front side. Otherwise this organizer is nothing short of perfect.
My favorite calendar! (2008-04-06)
This is the only calendar I use for my family. This is my second one and I absolutely love it. I use my BBB every day, all day. The individual columns for each family member is great. I love the pockets in the front and back to hold cards and invitations. The book mark is ingenious and stays in place perfectly. I definitely recommend this calendar for busy families such as mine. It's a wonderful organizer!
Love it! (2008-03-01)
This organizer is great for anyone who is multi-tasking. It is great for a student organizing assignments and for the busy mom trying to keep track of all the family obligations and appointments. I would highly recommend getting this product.
Getting Organized is so easy (2008-02-11)
The Busy Body Book is one of those products that makes me stop and say - "why didn't I think of that?" It's easy to use, it's adaptable...don't have kids? Not an issue...those blank columns can be used for anything from appointments to project planning (which is what I do) This is not just a product for mom's any person who needs help with organization will benefit from this planner.
organizer (2008-01-20)
I like everything about the planner except for the page holder. It slips off the rings very easily.

I buy one every year! (2008-06-18)
I love these calendars! This is the fifth year I have used these on my desk. I love the layout and the colorful art. I am a big fan of Mary's. I buy her magazine too!
Favorite Mary E. calendar (2008-03-26)
I buy this day to day calendar for my sisters, friends, and Mom every year for a stocking stuffer. They love it and expect to get it. The illustrations are creative and the quotes and sayings are even more wonderful.
What a way to start the day!! (2008-03-01)
Mary Engelbreit's calendars are always nothing short of FABULOUS! I bought one for myself & for my 89-year-old mother. We both LOVE them! The pages are too special to waste, so I send them to my 2 daughters, & my mom sends them to her sister, periodically. The illustrations & sayings are all upbeat & positive. I would recommend this calendar or any of her calendars to anyone -- the BEST way to start your day! :)
Colorful & Uplifting Images that reflect American Optimism (2008-02-08)
The encouraging and universal messages of love for life, family and friends
are cheerful and life-affirming. The images reflect an idealized vision of
the best that America has been and continues to be. It is a great gift for learners of English
as a sampler of American culture. As a American, born of immigrant parents, the positive messages of clever American sayings give an insight into the hope that this country
gives to many. I bought this calendar for a community-college student
learning English and she was delighted to receive it. I have faithfully purchased
this product for the last few years to keep me grounded and upbeat.
I Love this Calendar (2008-01-26)
I buy one of these calendars every year, and never cease to be encouraged and made to laugh. I look forward to turning to each new day. Mary Engelbreit is the best ever!

pretty (2008-02-11)
I really love this calendar. I gave it four instead of five stars only because it is a little hard to get used to seeing a calendar in the column form instead of box form. I love the pictures, makes you smile even when your calendar is hectic!
