Love the Color-Love the extras (2010-04-23)
I get this calendar every year (yes, I work in a cubicle in corporate America) they get better each year. I love the return of color. New this year are extras on the back fo each tear-off page. Extras include Sudoko, a handy little form for the babysitter, helpful hints, etc...
I will buy this again next year.
Like it but not the trend (2010-04-12)
Funny but not as many that are truly hilarious. Maybe they're saving them for the end.
Love it (2010-04-05)
I forgot to buy this at the end of the year and found it here
The only thing that gets me through the day... (2010-02-24)
Seriously. When you sit in a 8x8 cube of doom that was designed with "soul crusher" gray walls for 8-10 hours a day you could use a good laugh every now and then. Dilbert just has me figured out! Granted I work in IT - I also work for a fortune 500 company so a lot of the corporate jokes that Dilbert makes are DEAD ON. Examples of this include goal setting, project management, office weight loss, redundant meetings, etc, etc.
Every morning I hurry to my cube with a little bit of excitement knowing that I get to tear off a new comic! My only complaint? occasionaly the paper tops hang a little bit when you tear them off and it looks kind of sloppy, but the manufacturer made little perforated sections that can tear off at 1/8 increments through the comic to remove all of the excess paper left behind.
If you know someone who works in an office - preferable with cubicles - they will truly appreciate this little gift. It makes my day!
a great way to get a daily dose of Dilbert (2010-02-14)
I just realized I've been using Dilbert Day-to-Day Calendars for at least 5 years.
The only calendar I might give it up for is one that doesn't exist: 'The Calvin and Hobbes Day-to-Day Calendar'.
But this one usually gets at least a chuckle out of me when I sit down to breakfast, and that's not a bad way to start the day.
My only complaint is that the back of the pages now have some puzzle or quiz or something; I don't know who thought of doing that, but it's totally unnecessary - Dilbert can stand on his own and doesn't need any little extras.
Besides, I often used to use the back of old pages to make notes to myself for the day, but now it's a drag because of that stuff being in the way, so I've had to switch to using the back of pages from the 'Zen Page-a-Day Calendar'.
It's a little late for this year, but check it out for next year - it's still a great way to get a daily dose of Dilbert!

Awesome desk calendar (2009-12-07)
Quality product based on an excellent cartoon series. This is my preferred desk calendar/organizer each year!
Dilbert Desk Calendar (2008-11-26)
I have ordered a Far Side desk calendar for my dad for Christmas for 2 years. This year it was not available so I bought this one. So far it is ok but the thing it lacks is an entire month overview at the beginning of each month. It also doesn't have as much space to write as the Far Side version. All in all it will work for his purposes but it is not my favorite.
Funny and useful (2008-11-26)
This is a great product. Makes you laugh all the time when you turn the pages to each new comic. Yet, it is a practical calendar. Brightens up your day. Would definitely recommend it!
Not as nice as last year, but still good (2008-08-20)
I carry my 2008 Dilbert planner/calendar around with me everywhere... It fits nicely in my purse and has just enough room to keep the information I need in it.
Being proactive I went ahead and ordered my 2009 calendar because my boss is already planning things into next year. The 2009 version has the comics set up the same, filling each page on the left. They are just as funny as always (you either love Dilbert or you have never lived in cubeville). However the main difference between the 2008 and 2009 version is that the pages on the right, which contain the weekly planning portion, are black with little colored or white rectangles going from top to bottom. The change from the two by two blocks stacked 3 high didn't really bother me, what did bother me was the outline of the pages being black, meaning you can't overrun your writing into the colored edges... if you have something long, you'd better make it fit because if it runs out of the box you won't be able to read it.
I love the spiral holding the calendar together because it allows me to just flip to the week I'm in and leave it there until the following week - no flipping or hunting needed. The paper is quite thick and my 2008 version has held up quite well to the many abuses I put it through (furious page flipping, killing bugs, functioning as a coaster etc.) Because this one is made the same I expect the same duribility
Also for those of you who like me are lefties and use the uniball style pen to keep the back of your arm from changing color as you write... a uniball pen will not write on the waxy glossy paper they use. I have to keep a ball point pen hooked to it for writing because it is the only writing utensil that seems to work (no pencils either).
Other than that, I love this calendar and will probably own the 2010 version as well (unless they start putting out Calvin and Hobbs or the Far Side in calendars).

Not worth the money! (2010-05-09)
All this is are still shots from the show. You think they could have actually taken the time to take 12 photos for this calendar. If you are a fan of the show you will most likely be disappointed.
Nothing new (2009-12-31)
Bought this as a gift for my daughter. She was disappointed that it was mainly shots from the show--she was expecting other photos, etc.
Love the calendar (2009-12-10)
I'm a huge true blood fan, I bought one for myself and one for my friends birthday and we both love it
true blood calendar (2009-12-09)
For anyone who's a True Blood fan, this is a calendar they will enjoy. For anyone who's an Eric or Bill fan specifically, you may be a little disappointed. Maybe soon they will have a Bill or an Eric calendar of their own.
Lack of Eric (2009-11-20)
I am very disappointed by the photos in this calendar. Only one picture of Eric from 1st season. Photos of random moments when the characters. Why would I want to see Sam, Tara and Sookie sitting looking shocked on a bench in church for a month. There are also 2 months of Bill dipping Sookie over to bite her. One month not enough?
The photo choices are poor and random and all (I think) are from the 1st season. I wouldn't waste my money.

Beautiful! (2010-02-02)
I've been purchasing this series of calendars for a number of years now. The settings are always fascinating and usually beautiful. The pictures make me dream of being on a sailboat, listening to the lines slap the mast, and feeling the salty sea breeze on my face.
Great calendar! (2009-12-23)
Love this calendar. I've purchased this every year for the past 7-8 years now. I hang it on my wall at work. Nice escape from the work day.
Not what I expected... (2009-12-12)
The calander is nice and big....but that's it. The photos are are just ok...not what I expected from ocean voyaging. The date side of the calander is terrible..It is superimposed on charts of the ocean. You can barely see the dates and writing notes on them will be difficult to see. I am a sailor and I like sailing calanders...but not this one...Sorry..
I hope it's not more repeat of 2008 and 2009 (2009-12-01)
I've not been able to see the inside of the 2010 calendar but in the 2009 there were too many repeat pictures of 2008 with the quip "We liked this one so much last year we thought we'd use it again." To that I say "LAZY." There are endless beautiful and exciting sailing pictures and if you didn't take any of them in the past year then shame on you. Don't pursue selling your classic calendars without doing the necessary picture taking homework to make the calendar a uniquie piece of artwork for my office or home.
Far Away Dreams (2009-11-16)
This calendar is a visual dream of far away places and where one's imagination sets sail. The tranquil beauty of the island nations, the quiet coves of solitude, and the majesty of the ocean makes one realize the need for a break from the hectic pace of life. This calendar is that break.

Poorly made, flimsy cheap paper, poor lighting, some pictures look bleached out. Some pictures appear to be photoshopped - for example the seahorse on Jan would never be in that setting just hanging in space. There are MUCH better sealife calendars out there.
