Love the Color-Love the extras (2010-04-23)
I get this calendar every year (yes, I work in a cubicle in corporate America) they get better each year. I love the return of color. New this year are extras on the back fo each tear-off page. Extras include Sudoko, a handy little form for the babysitter, helpful hints, etc...
I will buy this again next year.
Like it but not the trend (2010-04-12)
Funny but not as many that are truly hilarious. Maybe they're saving them for the end.
Love it (2010-04-05)
I forgot to buy this at the end of the year and found it here
The only thing that gets me through the day... (2010-02-24)
Seriously. When you sit in a 8x8 cube of doom that was designed with "soul crusher" gray walls for 8-10 hours a day you could use a good laugh every now and then. Dilbert just has me figured out! Granted I work in IT - I also work for a fortune 500 company so a lot of the corporate jokes that Dilbert makes are DEAD ON. Examples of this include goal setting, project management, office weight loss, redundant meetings, etc, etc.
Every morning I hurry to my cube with a little bit of excitement knowing that I get to tear off a new comic! My only complaint? occasionaly the paper tops hang a little bit when you tear them off and it looks kind of sloppy, but the manufacturer made little perforated sections that can tear off at 1/8 increments through the comic to remove all of the excess paper left behind.
If you know someone who works in an office - preferable with cubicles - they will truly appreciate this little gift. It makes my day!
a great way to get a daily dose of Dilbert (2010-02-14)
I just realized I've been using Dilbert Day-to-Day Calendars for at least 5 years.
The only calendar I might give it up for is one that doesn't exist: 'The Calvin and Hobbes Day-to-Day Calendar'.
But this one usually gets at least a chuckle out of me when I sit down to breakfast, and that's not a bad way to start the day.
My only complaint is that the back of the pages now have some puzzle or quiz or something; I don't know who thought of doing that, but it's totally unnecessary - Dilbert can stand on his own and doesn't need any little extras.
Besides, I often used to use the back of old pages to make notes to myself for the day, but now it's a drag because of that stuff being in the way, so I've had to switch to using the back of pages from the 'Zen Page-a-Day Calendar'.
It's a little late for this year, but check it out for next year - it's still a great way to get a daily dose of Dilbert!

$13.99This calendar is for those who see that and those who need their eyes opened. It contains presidential mistakes and misstatements, jabs from conservative and some enlightened liberal pundits, jokes at Obamas expense, and other timely observations that will make you yearn for 2012.

A Good Gift for the Conservative in Your Life (2010-07-13)
This calendar is a page-a-day style calendar that can sit on a desk with an included plastic stand. Each day has the day/date and a saying, quotation or quip by/or about Barrack Obama. In addition, there is space to write meetings or other notes below the quotes which makes it very handy for desk work.
The various sayings come from a number of sources. Obviously, quotes from Obama himself are the preferred message but when there are no quotes from him to use they use observations by comedians and various websites.
I found it humorous but not laugh out loud funny, although there are some very good pages. That aside, this will entertain your favorite conservative for the next year and will make a great gift.

$20.00Is the year ahead looking much the same as the last? Another 365-day grind of meetings, dinner dates, and deadlines? If so, try this book.
Part instruction manual, part therapy, part religious cult, part sheer anarchy, This Book Will Change Your Life will help you poke a stick in the spokes of your routine.
It contains 365 daily orders, each one of which could turn your humdrum existence into a daily free-fall. On day 295, propose to a complete stranger. On day 181, get your street renamed after you. On day 16, discreetly give the finger to everyone you meet. Other days encourage self-crucifixion, currency manipulation, and writing to dictators.
Unusual and hilarious. The perfect gift for the guy or girl who has everything!

Numbingly terrible (2010-07-06)
I had high hopes for this book, if for nothing else, then as a chuckle-inducing bathroom read.
I must say, I was gravely disappointed. The book literally did not elicit a single laugh from me, and most of the "suggestions" would only lead to you quickly becoming the supreme village idiot. The only reason I read the entire book was because I just had to know HOW bad this book could get. Quite bad, indeed, it reminds of a train wreck: so bad you just can't look away.
Now, I consider my self to have quite the sense of humor, yet this book just did not deliver on any level. If you consider yourself levelheaded, I'm sure you will agree.
If you want to read some real good chaff, go ahead and get this book. My copy is in the trash. I'm ashamed to have owned it.
When you're really bored... (2010-05-22)
This book comes in handy when you're bored or tired of watching television infomercials. Each day you are given a different assignment. Gatecrashing a funeral was weird yet extraordinary. Eating my meals with chopsticks proved a challenge while eating my salad and sandwich. Some assignments are downright dangerous or too boring to do but when I asked an Italian senior citizen marry me he said yes!(no I didn't marry him but he seemed really happy to be asked).
This book gives you more meaning and excitement to a rather stressful or boring humdrum life. This book can last you years and one of the funnest assignments (in the Change Your Life sequel) has you eating just one color of food all day long to eat and drink. Highly recommend going brown and dieting on brownies, tootsie rolls and rootbeer all day long for bundles of energy and happiness. Have fun with this book but look around first so you won't get caught.
On my way to a new life. (2010-01-06)
Two years ago I found this book on my friend's bathroom. Last year we tried to start a book club with everyone meeting and telling their stories (lasted for 14 days). This year I VOW to finish this book and do everything it says, and see if my life changes. If not at least I can say I had fun. Follow my progress at [...]
A page-a-day funfest (2009-12-16)
Not really a life changer, but you might have to change your underpants from laughin so much. Don't try all the recommendations in this book unless you have a good attorney.
Not for serious reader -Awesome Book! (2009-05-18)
I bought this book for the reason I am retiring next month. Perfect
choice. You will laugh, mess-up or even get mad!!! The whole
philosophy of this book is to enjoy & think about that "Life is too short"-- cheers!
Highly recommended, period

Buy it everyear (2010-08-06)
This is a calendar book/diary I buy ever year. Only last year did I discover it could be bought here. I had theretofore bought it much more expensively from THE NEW YORKER. Only trouble is it is quite large and generally takes up a lot of desk space. The cartoons make it worth it though.

happy buyer! (2010-02-28)
I'm a happy buyer! The item was priced fairly, and was shipped promptly. I'd use this seller again!
Good but a little disappointing (2010-02-06)
I've followed the New Yorker cartoons off and on for many years. I found some of them in this collection to be borderline; but my main objection was the paper and printing quality. Was it always this flimsy?
A Smile a Day (2010-01-30)
I give this calendar to my brother-in-law each Christmas and he and my sister report they have great fun reading the daily cartoons. So, this is a Christmas gift that keeps on giving until the next Christmas!
Begin each day with a smile (or possibly a smirk) (2010-01-27)
My husband and I have been enjoying these calendars for years. Now they have even added in an extra feature of a puzzle or information on the back of each day. Of course, the humor is great. We give these out to loads of friends and family at Christmas. Then we peel back the page each day to reveal today's little gem, knowing that so many of our friends are sharing the same laugh.
Cartoon of the day (2009-04-27)
What a great gift. I should have given it to someone, but found it so funny, I kept it for myself. There is nothing like New Yorker cartoons.

Its a must have every year! (2010-08-20)
This standard wall calendar has beautiful and adorable kittens across every page! Every day has a different kitten picture and they are all so cute I go back and look through the entire calendar again at the end of the year. I couldn't start a new year with out one and order it earlier every year because I would not want to miss out on this gem ever. Really puts a smile on my face even on a dreary rainy day! There is ample space for notations or appointments. This calendar is not only so much fun it is also functional.
"The best things in life are furry" (2010-08-11)
Every year, I have to purchase more and more copies of "The 365 Kittens A Year" calendar for friends and relatives who have seen my copy and want one of their own. The calendar is standard-size wall-format with a color picture of a kitten or kittens for every day of the year---some posed, some just being naturally irresistible.
365 pictures of kittens makes a great Christmas gift---a smile for every day of year. People from all over the world send in their cutest kitten photographs (we've had our kittens featured for several years running) to be selected for the calendar. If you buy a copy of the 2011 version, there is an entry blank on the first interior page, so that you, too can send in your kitten's photographs for the 17th Annual Kittens of Distinction Contest.
The calendar also includes kitten quotations, e.g. "The best things in life are furry," plus advice on kitten care.
