This calendar features 12 gems from the shadowy catacombs in the perfect combination for fright fans. The midnight creature feature never goes out of style. While iconic horror films have been remade again and again, these classics remain the standard against which all others are judged. As great examples of graphic design are appreciated more and more as modern art, classic posters such as these have developed their own following among sophisticated art lovers.

Great Callendar (2010-01-10)
I always try to get the latest movie callender for my computer room, and this was the must have for this year. Great pictures, great layout from a great movie. Why it was dissed at the People's Choice awards is beyond me. Twilight appeals to a niche market. This movie put Star Trek out for all, not just Trekkies. Maybe the People's Choice officials should sample a wider scale of the audience and not just snot nosed teenagers living with mom and dad.
Star Trek (2009-12-19)
I have been a Star Trek fan since the TV show aired in 1966. I have enjoyed the classics and have seen them over and over as most of us probably have. When Star Trek went to the big screen, I have enjoyed them as well. This new Star Trek movie is excellent. I have to say it is exciting and fast paced. The new actors portray the classic charactors excellently. They make you feel that you are seeing them again just as they are graduating Starfleet. I give this movie a thumbs up and hope they make more.
Here is what you get with this Star Trek XI calendar (2009-12-10)
There was only one review for me to judge this newest Star Trek calendar by, so here you go folks with mine. First off, it hangs like a regular calendar (only one single hook required to hang it), you know, top down. This one does not hang left to right with two hooks needed to hang it on the wall (like the Star Trek Ships calendar).
For the different months this is what you get for the picture (on top with the calendar date squares under):
January - James Kirk (Christopher Pine)
February - Spock (Zachary Quinto)
March - Leonard "Bones" McCoy (Karl Urban)
April - Scotty (Simon Pegg)
May - Chekov (Anton Yelchin)
June - Uhura (Zoe Saldana)
In the middle an promotion for the next movie: Star Trek - The Future Begins (I can't wait for this one to come out)
July - Nero (Eric Bana)
August - Spock (Leonard Nimoy)
September - Captain Pike (Bruce Greenwood)
October - Sulu (John Cho)
November - Spock and Kirk on the Bridge of the Enterprise
December - The USS Enterprise NCC 1701 in space, a cool front shot of it leaving Jupiter's rings
Overall, I think it is a very good Star Trek calendar, it is based on the people in the movie, not on the ships like other Star Trek calendars. This calendar is about the movie Star Trek XI, and is very good one at that, with supporting pictures from the movie. The squares with the dates have the same background with a lightly muted side shot of Earth going through half the the botton part of the calendar and also on top, where there is no picture. Pretty cool, I might say, but they (the squares) all have the same background from month to month, just saying. You get the holidays and the actors/actress birthdays also there. Enjoy the 2010 year with the latest movie.
Great Wall Calendar! (2009-11-19)
With some great pics of the actors/characters, three of the beautiful promotion posters displayed at the center, the main and supporting actors' birthdays listed along with listing international holidays this is a wall calender I am definitely looking forward to displaying/looking at all year in 2010!
If you are a fan of Star Trek - especially of the 2009 film - then this is a must-have and I really don't think you'll regret buying it, I know I don't!

Gorgeous Calendar of Season 8 Cast (2010-07-31)
Beautiful calendar featuring group and individual photos of the season 8 cast. The large photographs are posed, carefully lit publicity shots of the lead cast members. Each calendar page is printed in the traditional Superman colors and features a small screen capture photo, some showing supporting players such as the Justice League. (Note: If you are a frequent visitor to KryptonSite, most of the publicity shots will not be new to you.)
I was particularly pleased with the attention given to Sam Witwer (Davis Bloome) and Cassidy Freeman (Tess Mercer), two new cast members and gifted actors. The introduction of their characters gave this show a jolt of creativity, energy and mature story-telling sorely lacking during the doldrums of seasons 6 and 7.
Like another poster, I would like to see quality screen captures or action shots mixed with the posed shots as the large photographs. But I cannot recall a "Smallville" calendar that deviated from the posed photo format.
Ultimately I purchased two copies, one for my own geeky collection and one for a fellow "Smallville" fan. She declared the February headshot of Sam Witwer/Davis Bloome to be thud-worthy...I happen to agree!
A Smallville Calendar (2010-02-18)
Great quality as always and nice pictures inside. My only issue is why do I have to endure 2 months of Davis Bloome and only get 1 month of Clark Kent? This is a Superman show still right?
Smallville #1 (2010-01-17)
As a fan of Smallville, I laways enjoy my yearly Smallville Calendar. This is no exception. Love the pictures and comments on the calendar, and especially love the Group shot.
Poorly designed but passable. (2010-01-07)
The graphic art is unattractive on this calendar, and I wish the months had been screen captures of fabulous Smallville moments rather than cheesy posed shots with the actors. And I question the necessity of devoting two months to Davis Bloome (Sam Witwer). It is a Season 8 calendar, so I guess as long as you aren't expecting a beautiful photo of Clark's awesome Season 9 rooftop save of Lois & Oliver, you'll be fine. I expect too much.
2010 Smallville Calendar Review (2009-12-10)
This is great calendar for the Smallville fan, whether you are just a average or a hardcore fan.

Just too cute! (2010-09-07)
Not only I but also my little one wait to flip it to see what's next at the beginning of each month. We will get a 2011 copy, too, once it becomes available!
My daughter loves it! (2010-02-01)
My daughter is a big fan of Olivia on the Nick Jr. Channel. I wasn't sure if I would find a calendar with this character. Imagine my joy when I did! I snagged it at the very reasonable price, and my daughter's eyes lit up when she opened it at Christmas! It's great to shop on Amazon.com, because they make it easy to find the best price on items you didn't think you'd find! I am a repeat customer!!
Great Gift! (2010-01-27)
I got this calendar for my mom for Christmas. I do every year, and this is by far the best edition yet! Great pics for every month!

Where? Not here! (2009-08-18)
I was so excited to go and buy this calendar. When I picked it up I was so very disappointed with the images the manufacturer chose to use. If you've seen the trailer for the film then you know how beautiful everything looks - but not this. Nearly every image is a very unimaginative close up of one character per month, and only a couple of wide-angle shots, which is very unfortunate considering what a genius film this looks to be. I'll wait to see if a 2011 WTWTA Calendar is any better.
